Import from a photo

Choose a bookshelf or book-cover photo. Photos are read on your device and are not uploaded. The reader downloads English language files on first use; an internet connection is needed.

JPEG, PNG or WebP · up to 20 MB. For best results, use a sharp close-up of a few books. Rotated spines and glare can need manual correction.

Correct and combine the text into one book per line: Title | Author. The reader extracts text; it does not reliably separate titles from authors. Missing authors must be filled in before importing. Reading another area appends its text.

Books use print format. Continue to the standard import preview for duplicate handling, cover lookup, and uncertain-match review. Nothing is saved yet.
