- Create or sign in to Stripe. Complete account activation, enable the customer billing portal, and add a webhook for customer.subscription.created, customer.subscription.updated and customer.subscription.deleted at
. - Connect a PayPal Business account. Create monthly ($10 USD) and annual ($34.99 USD) subscription plans with one free 7-day trial and no setup fee. Subscribe to BILLING.SUBSCRIPTION events at
. - Set up verified-email delivery. Verify bookmaestro.ai in Resend. The proposed sender is BookMaestro support (configured sender); email delivery remains pending until domain verification and an API key are configured.
- Configure the provider credentials as protected hosting environment variables. Never put secret keys in your library, notes, source code, or public pages. Test both payment providers and verification delivery before accepting subscriptions.
